Availability between meetings
Zoom Chat is included in Zoom Workplace and carries conversations beyond a meeting. Its status indicators provide context about whether teammates are available, in a meeting or focused elsewhere.
When testing an availability routine, start with the conversations where teammates actually contact you. Meeting participation and the status shown next to your chat profile answer different questions.
What OnlineHours is exploring
The goal is a connection with selected working days, a time zone and a clear pause control. Before release, it must be checked against real Zoom accounts and the platform’s current authentication and presence behaviour.
There is no working Zoom adapter in the current OnlineHours extension or cloud service. Roadmap interest helps prioritize development; it does not activate Zoom scheduling.
What you can do now
Review your profile’s current status controls in Zoom and decide when you want colleagues to expect a reply. Test the status from a second permitted view before making assumptions about what others see.
Record the specific issue you want solved: becoming unavailable during reading, keeping one schedule across apps, or ending availability at a fixed time. These details are more useful than a request for a permanently green dot.
Common questions
Can I connect Zoom to OnlineHours now?
No. Zoom Team Chat is planned and is not a functioning integration in this release.
Will a paid OnlineHours plan unlock Zoom?
No. Purchasing another plan does not unlock an unreleased integration.
Is there a release date?
No confirmed date is published. Availability will be updated after the connection and its behaviour are validated.
